Community Sustainability
17³Ô¹ÏÍø is committed to engaging with the surrounding community on sustainability initiatives. Whether it is supporting the City of Reading’s climate action plan, working with Berks Nature on a watershed project, or providing fresh and affordable produce to residents in need, the goal is the same - creating a more sustainable community for current and future members of our community. The Office of Institutional Sustainability (OIS) encourages organizations to reach out and learn more about these partnership opportunities. We are stronger working together.

17³Ô¹ÏÍø is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), which offers valuable sustainability-related resources that are free with 17³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s membership.

Bog Turtle Creek Farm is a student-led regenerative agriculture project that was created in response to a need to increase access to healthy, affordable food in the City of Reading.
